MEET THE TEAM

Tails on Trails employs two wonderful, dog-loving Adventure Specialists and we work as a team to get more dogs out adventuring with us, in a safe and responsible manner.

The Tails on Trails team is focused on the wellbeing of each dog and providing the best possible adventure experience.  Each of us has an extremely high standard in dog welfare and care, and you can be assured that your dog will be in safe and loving hands.

KAT GEEVES

The lead adventurist and explorer extraordinaire

As the Director of Tails on Trails, I have a vision to improve the wellbeing of as many dogs as possible. All I want is for these beautiful animals to live their best life, and I know first-hand (through my own dogs) they are happiest when out adventuring!

My love of the outdoors, coupled with an adventurous spirit and natural ease with dogs, is the perfect combination for my Adventure Specialist role.

With a Bachelor of Science in Zoology coupled with over 20 years of dog handling experience, I take this role very seriously. I only want what is best for all dogs, with the care of each dog being my utmost priority.

I strive for excellence in providing them with a safe and stimulating experience that they’ll love. I began this business because I wanted to provide a service for those people that genuinely care about their dog’s happiness.

I have invested in the wellbeing of the dogs in my care by beginning an internationally recognised Diploma in Canine Behaviour & Psychology, and I aim to have this completed in 2021. This additional knowledge I’m gaining will only enhance my ability to provide a first-rate service.

SORAYA KIRBY

Professionally trained to care for your dog

Soraya has perfect credentials for the Tails on Trails team.  Her qualifications include National Certificate in Animal Care and National Certificate in Veterinary Nursing.

Her canine handling experience includes a vet clinic, pet store, and SPCA.  Her commitment to animal welfare is second to none.  What more can I say… she is ideal for the Adventure Specialist role!

On top of this, Soraya is a super-friendly person, with the kindest heart, who has a love of the outdoors.  I’m sure when you meet her, you’ll agree.

KASSANDRA LYNNE

You can call her Kass

Kass is the ultimate adventurer and perfect for the role.  She is a free spirit who has a wonderful connection with nature.  I’m pretty sure she is happiest when out exploring with her two dogs.

Owning her own photography business, Kass works mostly on the weekends, therefore has plenty of time during the week to devote to her Adventure Specialist role.  She exudes a warm and friendly demeanour and loves meeting new people … and of course dogs.

Having owned multiple dogs over the years has given Kass valuable dog-handling experience, especially her stance on positive training techniques and a tangible genuine affection for all living creatures.

Kass is a past and current business owner, so she has plenty of life experience and capable of the requirements it takes to work on her own with the dogs.
