Not only are we Dunedin’s premier dog adventuring service, we also have the capacity to assist with dog training and rectifying any unwanted behavioural issues.
In today's society our dogs have become such an integral part of our family, so it is important they have a sound base with which to fit in with our lifestyles. We aim to help our clients maximise their relationship and enhance the bond they have with their pet.
BASIC LIFE SKILLS
Whether you’re welcoming a new puppy or dog into your home, or you’re keen to brush up on the basics, this is the perfect ‘in-home’ session to connect with your dog at a higher level and fine-tune your training skills.
You will receive full demonstration and coaching on the techniques required to enhance your dog’s behaviour.
Dogs see the world differently to humans, so learn how to interact with them in a manner they understand and improve the bond between you and your dog.
Never underestimate the importance of basic dog obedience training. A well trained & obedient dog can transform your life.

BEHAVIOURAL CORRECTION

Our resident dog trainer extrodinaire is Nick Bright. He is a wealth of knowledge and a true asset to the Tails on Trails team.
With over 10 years’ experience of working with dogs and accredited as a professional dog trainer, Nick’s passion is clear to see when you meet him.
He has a soft spot for rescue dogs and a resounding commitment to his clients that results in an exceptional resume of helping dogs and owners achieve success.
Nick loves nothing more than the challenge of solving behavioural problems to increase the wellbeing of dogs and assisting owners to connect with their beloved pets.
